Ian Byford, author of 'Passing Glances: A Gay History of Cairns' leads a walk of sites of gay significance in inner city Cairns.

Ian will be at Paradiso for breakfast from 8.30am so if you'd like to join him come along, buy a coffee and he'll gladly regale you with stories of Cairns' gay past.

At 9.30am the walk leaves Paradiso on a stroll past some of Cairns most beautiful and iconic buildings and Ian will share their secret history. We will finish at Barista Sister at Rusty's Markets at 11am.

Ian will confide a few stories he would have loved to have included in the book but couldn't.

And there's a special souvenir map of historical gay Cairns for all the participants.
